Defending rural people's rights

CEPAS-Caritas is part of the central administration of the Catholic Church in Bolivia (the bishops’ conference).

CAFOD has supported CEPAS in the past for its work in organising the National Dialogue, which made recommendations on the spending of the debt relief made available through the HIPC process.

Currently CAFOD is supporting CEPAS for a training programme with small rural producers in eastern Bolivia to enable them to defend their rights to their land.
