CAFOD works with more than 500 partners both overseas and in the UK - all working to reduce poverty

We choose our partnerships based on mutual commitment, trust and shared concerns, and looks for opportunities to bring partners together to learn from each other.

CAFOD partners overseas are trusted, local groups staffed by local people, and our aim is to strengthen partners through improving skills, resources and systems so they can better help those in need.

CAFOD has never ordered us to do things, but has accompanied us, listened to us and supported us, and we appreciate that.

CAFOD also works with other UK agencies, especially through networks such as the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), Trade Justice Movement, and the Live Simply network.

It is also committed to interfaith working both in the UK and overseas, working with Justice and Peace groups and other faith-based networks such as Islamic Relief.
