Home-based care

The Ndola Diocese Integrated AIDS Programme provides home-based care to people living with HIV and AIDS in 11 different locations.

The Programme raises awareness about the causes of HIV and AIDS, offers counselling, and encourages home-care volunteers, community workers and those orphaned by the disease to become actively involved in the prevention of its spread.

The Programme is also tackling discrimination against people affected by the epidemic, and provides food and other essentials to those most in need.
