Giving access to safe water
The Catholic Development Commission (CADEC), Bulawayo, helps those without access to sufficient, safe water for themselves and their livestock, by drilling boreholes, building dams and helping to set up rainwater harvesting systems.
Where dams are built, people are able to develop irrigation, fish farming, livestock rearing and small-scale industries such as brick moulding.
